After a few simple steps in registration you can get posting with other like minded students or otherwise about all aspects of student life and the leaving cert exams.

The Pres have always been a hot topic up for debate. As many of you noticed, the debating has already begun. Many people argue that cheating for the pres is morally wrong, whereas others will be for it, depending on how you look at it. Although cheating has been frowned upon, it has been looked at in a different way recently. Focused learning being the positive one, and using information for bad intention being the negative.
Various formats of the the pre leaving cert exam papers from DEB and examcraft have been floating around the internet lately. Various discussions have been going on over at boards.ie about it, until the moderators stepped up and banned users for posting links to copyrighted material. Which was a step in the right direction, but there was always google cache. And various other sources.
It seems that many people all over the country obtained copies of the papers before they sat their exams. Which raised a little more awareness about the pres and how effective they really are. The fact that schools choose the date that the pres are held doesn’t help either. You have friends sharing copies also. However, sharing information wont stop. But perhaps the approach to the pres needs to be looked into.

Fellow unmotivated students (and motivated). I’d like to welcome you all to our new website leaving-cert.net, those of you reading this have found the website which has not yet been launched. We hope to have everything ready by this coming weekend.
Who’s running the show?
This project will be run by Colin Lowry, Kevin Holler and Amy Flynn. We are all in different schools, Kevin coming from a mixed and Colin coming from an all boys school and Amy from an all girls convent. We, like many of you are just as unmotivated and confused about this leaving certificate. So we have decided to make a blog, documenting our progress from this coming weekend right up to the leaving certificate in June.
All with a touch of humour and a sprinkle of truth. The kind of truth that the Department of Education, parents and even teachers try to ignore. Truth being, that there is quite a number of students out there who are uncaring and unmotivated about this whole leaving certificate.
Our goal?
Our aim is to provide you all with a little insight into the lives of leaving certificate students and what they get up to, while keeping you all entertained of course. So if you’re feeling the pressure of the leaving certificate, get on the internet, read our stuff and relax.
